 Roumanian Honey Cookies
 
 
From Helene Marshall of Marshal's Farms Honey
 
1   margarine  
1   butter  
1/2 cup   sugar  
1/2 cup   brown sugar  
2   eggs  
1/2 cup   honey  
3 1/2 cup   flour  
1 tsp   baking soda  
1 tsp   cinnamon  
1 tsp   clove  
2 Tbs   milk  
  ICING  
1   lemon,juiced  
1 1/2 cup   powdered sugar  
1   egg white,beaten 'til foamy  
 
Cream margarine, butter, sugars, honey and eggs. Use mixer.
Sift together flour, baking soda and spices. Add flour mixture to the other mixture using a wooden spoon...tastes better that way!
Chill dough overnight. Make 1 inch balls and bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 11 minutes. You can eat plain or frost with icing.
